The setting for Quinta Essentia is a rural integrated farm environment, that perfectly meets the needs of the adolescent age students. The farm setting is an ideal learning environment, providing limitless opportunities for the study of all disciplines through practical experience. It becomes a natural laboratory for the study of the natural sciences, where practical investigations and learning help build a passion and depth of knowledge for science.

Quinta Essentia follows the International Montessori Pedagogy for the Adolescent age that is rapidly spreading throughout the World. This pedagogy offers a complete education, emphasising qualities highly sought after throughout the World.
International Training and Experience of the Pedagogy runs throughout our program. Students will also work alongside Subject Matter Experts who are professionals in their field, gaining real experience besides aquiring knowledge.

The Farm has a “museum of machinery.” The machines are of suitable size that the adolescents can take them down and reassemble them, also use and repair them. A philosophical reflection arises in them that machines have given man powers far greater than are natural to him.
Art is a means of self-expression and can help adolescents convey emotions that are difficult to verbalize. Various Expressive Arts can tap different sensory modalities, aiding the relaxation of the mind and body. Arts are used by adolescents to unwind, de-stress, and to increase self-awareness.
Living in Farm as a community of adolescents breeds ethics of the highest order among the peers resulting in a community comprising of individuals with thoughts of selfless service compounding the healthy progress of the society they live in.

Parents, professional & people from other farms will become the guests for a short stay. Place will be decorated and guests will meet, discuss, dine, share things, knowledge and their experiences and celebrate with the adolescents during the period of their stay.
The adolescent needs to do purposeful work that contributes to society. By contributing and observing its impact, allows them to see the interdependence of humanity. With this, Social Development happens true to real life experience than from simply hanging out with friends.
Santhai is a small Medival Market where the students of the Farm School along with people from nearby villages sell their produce which inculcates the acquaintance with the local community, nurturing their economic independence and social development.
As our neighbourhoods are villages having children deprived of age appropriate quality education, the adolescents use their Montessori experiences to assist these children in their development. This gives rise to their sense of social justice and becomes part of their moral development.
